We’re enjoyed the convenience that it was attached to the mall for shopping purposes, close to the train station, and provided many amenities like limo service and coin laundry. However, because it is an international hotel, you would sometimes have to waits in the elevator area to take a lift up due to amount or prone coming in and out. Although, they had staff to help the elevator operations run smoothly, which we found very helpful!

We will always stay at the Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro. The area is quiet and convenient and the staff is always wonderful.

Staying at Sunshine city Prince was so convenient with the limo bus, shopping, variety of restaurants, walking distance to the train station! Staff was very nice and buffet downstairs was delicious. We enjoyed staying at prince very much!!

It’s a great hotel to stay at, especially with the shopping center connected to it. There will be so many things to see & do. The train station is also just 5-7mins away! The only concern was that since it super popular, the elevators at certain times will be super packed! (Especially the lobby) On a side note, our room aircon took a long while to get cold.

The location is awesome and the staff at the lobby and at the cafe are very friendly and easy to talk to. However the wifi is very slow and the air condition isn’t working at all but the hotel provided me a tower fan which is so loud I couldn’t sleep well at night. I’ll definitely be back again only after they give me a well air conditioned room.

Easy walk to/from train station; hotel is part of huge shopping/dining complex; hotel has Family Mart convenience store open 24/7.

Overall a convenient hotel. Close to some decent restaurants and connected to some decent shopping too. There are some hotels closer to the train station that may be more convenient and have better food and shopping, but this is a decent option too. The Airport Limousine Bus to both HND and NRT stops here on the street in front of the hotel. Booking is done on your own through a QR code that the hotel provides upon request. Luggage service is done by Yamato only through a separate desk in the lobby and has specific hours - so if you plan on sending your luggage early in the morning, plan accordingly. They also don’t offer services through other companies such as Sagawa so we had to walk a couple blocks away to do so. Most services you would expect from a hotel in Japan are available, however it seems to be more outsourced and have to find the right person/desk to talk to rather than the front desk assisting you with everything. Bottom line, decent hotel. Would have no objections or concerns staying again, but might also try other hotels in the area as well.

Hotel is in an excellent loacation with lots to see and do and eat. Plenty of shoping choices in the Sunshine City Mall which it is a part of. Our rooms were a bit small but larger than other places we've stayed. It's in a popular area of Tokyo after all. Staff is great. We definitely would come back here again for our next trip.
